CCS WEEK 2024 has concluded, and it was an electrifying celebration of innovation, competition, and academic excellence. We’re thrilled to announce that San Mateo Campus emerged as the 1st placer of overall champion, showcasing incredible talent and dedication. Here are the highlights of their achievements:

Typing Master Competition

Chem D. Estrella and Bryan Gomez demonstrated exceptional typing speed and accuracy, securing top spots in this highly competitive event. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Hackathon

The Hackathon saw teams racing against the clock to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Joey Aibert U. Collado, Ralph Regie M. Dominguez, and Jandrei Dosh M. Hiloma clinched the first place with their groundbreaking project. Razel Marlon Hina, Johntiel Sabalza, and Mark Joseph Siarot followed closely, showcasing their impressive coding skills and teamwork.

Rapid Prototyping

The Rapid Prototyping challenge highlighted the creativity and technical prowess of Jake Laurence F. Acang, Ranielle T. Lopez, and Kyle Gabrielle A. Tan. Their innovative use of Arduino components to develop a functional prototype earned them the top spot.

Capstone and Thesis Competition

The Capstone and Thesis Competition was a showcase of rigorous research and technological innovation. The team comprising Prince Dale M. Mariano, Mary Joy C. Lopez, Shara Suzette P. Nieva, John Carlo M. Pintor, Geremy L. Bassig, Edilon C. Bacay, Julius P. Albo, Phebe Eunice M. Rodriguez, and Gladymae Rosales secured second place with their impressive project, the “Remote Controlled Metal Landmine Detection Robot.” This project presented a novel solution for detecting landmines using remote control technology and advanced sensor integration, demonstrating significant potential for real-world applications in ensuring safety and security in affected areas.
